Looking for a hilarious and engaging way to teach biblical values? The Sea Voyage Series takes audiences on a wild and unpredictable adventure as Barry and Gary sail from island to island, encountering strange customs, silly problems, and unexpected life lessons along the way.
Part 1: Sneeze Island
Barry and Gary set sail on their ship, The Big Ship Mannerific, searching for adventure and a new home. Their first stop? Sneeze Island, where everyone sneezes on each other instead of using tissues! The duo quickly learns that some habits—even if they seem normal—can be rude, unhygienic, and just plain gross. They teach their new friend Choo the importance of good manners and proper hygiene before setting off for their next island.
Part 2: Shove Island
Barry and Gary land on Shove Island, hoping it will be better than their last stop. Instead, they discover a place where people push each other instead of asking politely to move. Their new friend Ned thinks shoving is the only way to get around—until Barry and Gary introduce the radical idea of saying "excuse me." Will Ned learn that kindness and consideration work better than force?
Part 3: Blame Island
After barely escaping Sneeze and Shove Islands, Barry and Gary approach their next stop: Blame Island. Barry has had enough of these strange places and blames Gary for dragging him into this mess. But as they arrive, they’ll soon meet islanders who blame everyone else for their problems. Will Barry learn to take responsibility? Or will he just join in the blame game?

Sneeze Island Script
(Scene: Barry and Gary are on their ship, The Big Ship Mannerific. The ship gently rocks as they sail the ocean. Barry is slumped over, looking seasick, while Gary is full of energy, enjoying the journey.)
(Barry moans, lays his head down, acting seasick.)
(Both puppets/actors moan—Barry is sick, while Gary is excited. After a few moments, Gary notices Barry’s discomfort.)
Narrator: Once upon a time not so very long ago Barry and Gary started out on an adventure on their ship. "The big ship mannerific." They had an idea to travel to different places, meet different people and maybe find a new place to live.
Gary: Wow, what a great day look Barry, at all that water.
Barry: Yea I see (starts moaning) Ohhhh…
Gary: Ohh is right I think I saw a whale ahhh.. There he is.
Barry: Great. ohhh (moans, lays his head over acts seasick)
(at this time, both puppets are moaning. Gary is excited, Barry is sick. After a few minutes Gary notices Barry moaning)
Gary: (cheerfully) Hey Barry, what’s wrong?
Barry: (groaning) The water does not like me.
Gary: Nonsense! You’re just a little seasick.
Barry: No. It’s out to get me. Ohhh…
Gary: Try to look on the bright side! We’re on the water, on an adventure, and the waves are moving our boat closer to somewhere new.
Barry: Yeah… it’s moving us up and down and up and down… Ohhh… (moans again, clutching his stomach)
Gary: Come on! It’s not that bad—it’s all in your head!
Barry: All in my head?! It’s about to be all over this boat in a minute! Ohhh… (moans louder)
Gary: Look, Barry! Land!
Barry: Where?! Where?! Oh, sweet land, where are you?!
Gary: Over there! It looks like an island. Wait—three islands! Wow!
Barry: Look! Oh wow… Do you think they have friendlies?
Gary: Friendlies?
Barry: Do you think the people who live on them are friendly?
Gary: I don’t know, but we’re about to find out!
Shove Island Script
Narrator: (enthusiastically) The last time we saw our friends, Barry and Gary were fleeing Shove Island. They were very glad to leave after realizing that constant pushing and shoving wasn’t for them. But what kind of island will they find next?
(Barry and Gary enter, rocking as if on a boat. Barry looks grumpy, while Gary appears hopeful.)
Barry: Do I have to?
Gary: Come on, Barry! It won’t be that bad.
Barry: Not that bad?! Do you call the last two islands we visited "not that bad"?
Gary: Well… they were a little strange. (hesitates slightly)
Barry: A little strange?! Let me refresh your memory—
- First, we had Sneeze Island… (shudders)
- Then, we had Shove Island… (rubs his arm) I’m sure you still have bruises!
