Share Your Story With DramaShare
Have You Written a Script? We Would Love to Read It!

Many of the best scripts in our library did not start in professional theaters. They started in living rooms, church offices, and classrooms. They were written because a leader looked at their group, realized they did not have a script that fit their specific cast or stage, and decided to write one themselves.
If you have written a play, skit, reader's theater piece, or VBS program, we invite you to share it with the DramaShare family.
Why share your writing with DramaShare?
- Reach a Global Congregation:Â Your script can help a small, rural church in another country, a homeschool group down the road, or a youth ministry looking for a fresh way to share the Gospel.
- A Welcoming Place for Beginners:Â You do not need a literary agent or a long resume. If your script has a solid biblical message and is practical for churches to perform, we want to see it.
- We Respect Your Work:Â We believe in treating writers with honesty and respect.

Our Plain & Simple Promise to Writers
We know that sharing something you've written takes trust. Whether this is your first script or your fiftieth, we want you to understand exactly how working with DramaShare works.
You Keep Ownership
Your script is still your script. You retain the copyright and ownership of your work. If DramaShare accepts your script, you give us permission to promote, sell and distribute it through DramaShare.
You Receive a Share of Sales
When an individually purchased script sells, the writer receives 40% of the net sale. Writers may also receive compensation when their scripts are downloaded through qualifying DramaShare memberships. We track writer activity and provide quarterly statements so you can see how your work is being used.
You Receive Full Credit
Your name stays with your work. We want churches and ministries to know the writers behind the scripts they perform.
You Can Still Use Your Own Work
You are always free to use your script in your own church, school or ministry. Unless we specifically agree otherwise, working with DramaShare does not prevent you from sharing or publishing your work elsewhere.
We'll Put It in Writing
If we would like to add your script to DramaShare, we'll send you a simple Writer Agreement explaining ownership, permission to distribute your work, compensation and other important details. We want both you and DramaShare to know exactly what to expect.
Want to Remove a Script?
If you decide you no longer want DramaShare to offer your work, let us know in writing. Our Writer Agreement explains the simple process for removing a script.
How to Get Started
Sharing your script is simple and completely stress-free. Because we want to make sure we give every writer our personal attention, we start with a simple conversation.
- Send us a quick message - Go to our contact page and drop us a line. You do not need to send your script just yet. Simply let us know that you have a play, skit, or program you would like to share, and tell us a little bit about yourself.
- We will reply personally - We will get back to you quickly by email to say hello. When we reply, we will give you the direct email address where you can safely send your script files.
- Prepare your script - While you wait for our reply, make sure your script is ready to send. It is incredibly helpful if your document is clean, easy to read, and includes a brief summary of the cast size, staging needs, and the main biblical message.
- Let's chat - Once we receive your script, we will personally read and review it. Then, we will reach out to talk about how we can work together to help other churches use your writing to point people to Jesus.
