Barry and Gary have just escaped from Shove Island, and Barry is not thrilled about their next adventure. He reminds Gary how terrible Sneeze Island and Shove Island were, blaming him for dragging them into this never-ending series of bizarre islands.
Gary, on the other hand, remains optimistic, assuring Barry that this island will be different. Barry isn’t convinced and sarcastically blames Gary for their troubles, questioning where the "fun" part of this adventure is supposed to be.
As they approach Blame Island, Barry warns that if this island is anything like the last two, Gary will be the one to blame. The skit ends on a cliffhanger, setting up their next misadventure on Blame Island, where they will likely meet islanders who blame everyone else for their problems.
This skit humorously illustrates the dangers of blame-shifting and complaining, which aligns with Matthew 7:3-5:
"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye." (Matthew 7:3-5, NIV)
Barry is quick to blame Gary for everything without realizing that he is part of the problem. This verse teaches that before blaming others, we should examine our own actions and attitudes.

(Barry and Gary enter, rocking as if on a boat. Barry looks grumpy, while Gary appears hopeful.)
Barry: Do I have to?
Gary: Come on, Barry! It won’t be that bad.
Barry: Not that bad?! Do you call the last two islands we visited "not that bad"?
Gary: Well… they were a little strange. (hesitates slightly)
Barry: A little strange?! Let me refresh your memory—
- First, we had Sneeze Island… (shudders)
- Then, we had Shove Island… (rubs his arm) I’m sure you still have bruises!
