1: Good day ladies and gentlemen! I am your Channel 12 newsperson. I have some people I would like you to meet.
(moves to first boy and girl)
1: What is your name?
Nathan: My name is Nathan. I lived in Bible times.
Elizabeth: I am Elizabeth, Nathan’s mother.
1: Tell me about what you did.
Elizabeth: I packed a lunch for Nathan.
Nathan: I wanted to hear Jesus preach.
1: What did you send in Nathan’s lunch?
Elizabeth: His favourite, bread and small fish.
1: Then what happened?
Elizabeth: I went with Nathan, it was nice.
Nathan: There were a lot of people listening to Jesus.
Andrew: I am Andrew, Jesus’ disciple. Jesus asked us to feed all the people.
Peter: I am Peter, and there were thousands of people. How could we feed them?
Elizabeth: The disciples asked if anyone had brought food.
Nathan: I said, “I have some bread and fish.”
Peter: They were tiny little fish. What good would that do?
Andrew: I took Nathan and his lunch to Jesus.
Nathan: Jesus smiled at me and blessed my food.
Andrew: It was amazing!
Peter: We handed out food to everyone.
Elizabeth: Everyone ate and ate.
