Pete and Dorothy come on stage carrying golf bags

Pete: Dorothy, that was some drive! Must'a been 35 feet.

Dorothy: Actually 38 feet, Peter! And straight down the middle of the fairway, again!

Pete: All right Dorothy! Now let's see what the old Pete Henderson swing can do!

Pete winds up and hits "ball", both watch straight ahead then gradually turn in unison as if catching the ball hook off to side. A golf ball is thrown on the stage.

Dorothy: Isn't that nice, Peter? Your ball landed right there in that gravel pile. What's it called again?

Pete, annoyed: The rough, Dorothy, the rough! That's what it's called, the rough!

Dorothy: Isn't that nice, Peter! Why is it I can never seem to hit into the rough? My drives are so boring, always straight down the middle of the fairway!

Ben comes in side door, looks around, walks up on stage.

Ben: Did anyone see my golf ball? (sees ball). Oh, there it is! (picks up ball)

Dorothy: Peter, that man is taking your golf ball!

Pete and Dorothy walk up on stage with Ben.

Pete: See here, sir! Now this is my . . . . Oh Dorothy, see who this is? It's Ben
Williams! You remember, Ben, from (church name), before we moved to our condo at the Young 'n Perky Retirement Estates! How ya doin' Ben ma' boy?

Ben, cups hand around ear to hear: What say? Eh?

Pete: Your hearing aid, Ben! (yells into Ben's ear) Turn up your hearing aid!

Ben: Gatorade? Why would I bring Gatorade? Only out for a few rounds a' golf!

Dorothy: No, Ben, I believe what my husband Peter asked was if you could please turn up your hearing aid just a little.

Ben: Then why didn't he just say so? Why all the nonsense about Gatorade?

Ben turns up hearing aid.

Pete: Now what I was saying Ben, I believe that golf ball you picked up is mine.

Ben: Your golf ball? I'm afraid you're mistaken! (holds up golf ball and turns it
around and around as he "reads") See here, it says "This golfball is a momento
