Jennie: That was some awesome discussion we had today.
Peter: Awesome for sure. . . . Incredible, some of the things he did.
Jennie: Incredible is all over the things he did, especially things to do with water.
Peter: Guess you could say he made a splash, huh?
(Splash Man music plays, Jennie and Peter watch in shock.)
All Singers (Offstage voices):

All, loud:
Splash Man, Splash Man, Splash Man
Na na na na na na na na Splash Man!
(Splash Man and Splash Girl stop, Splash Man gets off Splashmobile.)
SMan: Please park the Splashmobile, Splash Girl.
SGirl: Great surging tidal waves, Splash Man! I would for sure be proud to park the Splashmobile. . . Umm, do you think I could, like, like drive it rather than just push it, huh?
SMan: No, no, I really don’t think that would be wise, Splash Girl! . . You must remember that this is a highly engineered Splash Vehicle, capable of reaching blinding speeds.
SGirl: I understand, Splash Man. It’s just that I hope someday maybe . . .
SMan: Well, Splash Girl, you have to understand that I haven’t always been the impressive superhero that I am today. . . I dare say, your day will come, Splash Girl!
(Jennie and Peter move to Splash Man.)
Jennie: Excuse me . . . who are you guys . . . exactly?
Peter, looks over SMan and SGirl: Maybe . . . what are you guys . . . exactly?
SMan: I am the world-famous . . . Splash Man! . . . And this is my associate . . . Splash Girl!
SGirl: I am sure you have heard all about the amazing . . . Splash Man.
SMan: Yes, and to a lesser, but still amazing extent . . . Splash Girl.
Jennie: Can’t remember ever seeing you before.
Peter: And if we ever saw you guys . . . dressed like that and all . . . we for sure would remember that . . . for sure!
SMan: So . . . getting right down to the case at hand . . . Why did you call the Splash Man?
SGirl: And the Splash Girl?
Jennie, confused: Why did . . . we? . . . We never called you.
Peter: And if by some unfortunate happening we did call you . . . we would likely forever apologize.
SMan: No need for apologies . . . We are here and ready to spring . . . into action!
SGirl: Did you get the subtle meaning there? . . . Spring . . . as in . . . spring water . . . Splash . . . Water . . . Get it?
Peter: Trust us, the connection . . . leaked . . . through.
SGirl: Very good . . . girl! . . . But really, if we are going to work together, we should be on a first-name basis.
SMan: And since you know our names . . . it seems logical that we should know yours.
Peter: Logical perhaps, but unfortunate.
Jennie: I am Jennie, and (pointing to Peter) . . . this is my friend Peter.
SMan, extends hand to Jennie: Pleased to know you, Peter.
Peter: Ummm . . . Peter being a boy’s name, and me being a boy . . . figures I would likely be Peter, and . . . (pointing to Jennie) . . . that would be Jennie.
SMan: I knew that . . . I really did . . . know that.
SGirl: Now on to the meat of the matter . . .
Jennie: Meat of the matter?
SMan: Just a little something Splash Girl always says . . . Just means let’s get down to splash business.
Peter: Splash business?
SGirl, rolls eyes: I believe it was you who said . . . “he made a splash”!
SMan: If that wasn’t a clear request for the services of Splash Man, I have no idea what would be!
Peter: I was referring to our Bible study . . .
SMan, thinks: “Bible study” . . . Would that be like studying a Bible?
Peter: I gotta hand it to you . . . so quickly connecting the dots on that one!
Jennie: We were looking up all the times Jesus did his miracles on or near the water.
SMan: So this Jesus fella . . . you could, like, kinda say he made a splash, huh?
