Because He, (Jesus), was born.  And because you believe.
Not because of what we, you, I, have done.

Although we, in our sometimes sanctimonious Christian-entitled ways like to, in the midst of praising God for all He has done, manage to slip in a little personal plug for special treatment and attention . . .

It still, in the final analysis, boils down to . .
Because He was born! . . And because you believe.

Folks say the world is a mess, and that is quite indisputable . . .
All around us people are giving up, bailing out, freaking out, zoning out . . .
Our portion is limited to showing loving compassion for those who have not found the Light . . .

No need, and likely detrimental, to scream and shout, loudly ring alarm bells or post warning
signs . . .

Simply face scary tomorrow, resolved to carry through, intentionally our best, maintaining
loving attitude.

No false bravado, rallying troops, messages full of platitudes:'better days ahead,' no giving
Bible verse. . .

Ours only to show love and concern for skeptics, disillusioned, forgotten, frightened and lost
around us . . .

Ours is not a battle to wage, complex question to answer, wrongs to right, (except those of our creation . . .)
