A sales meeting is taught a lesson along the lines of loving each other the way God loves you.

Morning folks, good to see you bright-eyed and bushy-tailed for the first day of Mainstream Incorporated annual sales meeting.
Just a few housekeeping issues before we get started.
As those of you who are long-term employees know, while we need to get a bunch of work done here, we like to keep these meetings informal and fun.
Hope you enjoy all of the activities.
points into the audience, grins
Old Ben over there, he especially likes the golf tournament. We got your trophy already personalized for you, Ben: Most Honest Golfer! Ben, he’s not what you would call the best golfer you ever did see, but Ben he has a ton of fun, and that’s what it’s all about!
This meeting, like all others, is designed to give you the straight goods on what’s happening at the senior management level at Mainstream Incorporated. The boss, he’s around most of the time, in and out, so you got any questions or comments for him, don’t hold back.
The fact is that even though Mainstream is a big, and thankfully profitable corporation, we kinda operate more like a big family.
The boss keeps me right up-to-date with what he’s thinking, and I really appreciate that. And same is true with my style of management; open and honest, supportive of what you are doing in the workplace, setting the stage for you to be successful and secure.
Now make no mistake, the boss expects your best efforts, a good day’s work for a good day’s pay, and so do I. But both the boss and I want to have you feel that you are an important member of the team, which is the way we see you.
I think you have noticed that I am the kinda guy who goes to bat for my people, and I expect that it always works that way between you guys as well. Support each other, don’t get bogged down in competition between each other. You see another guy having a rough day, hey, stop what you are doing, give him a cheer-up, OK? Look, soon enough it’s gonna be your turn to need a smile and a pat on the back.
Family, that’s what it is, and what it should be!
