In this thought-provoking two-person skit, a checklist of tasks reveals more than completed duties—it exposes a crucial oversight. Terry believes the job is done, but Annie points out what’s missing: training others to carry the mission forward. Based on Matthew 24:14, this drama is a powerful reminder that our calling isn’t just to serve, but to equip others to do the same.

ANNIE
Did you arrange those appointments?
TERRY (frustrated)
Check, check, check! I told you I’ve done absolutely everything that is required of me! Can I go now?
ANNIE
Not so fast. I think your work shows a certain deficiency in the area of training.
TERRY (upset, grabs the checklist from Annie)
What do you mean? I worked extremely hard at everything! How could I have missed something?
ANNIE
Well, this is easily fixed. Just show me your list of people you trained to keep up your work.
TERRY (more quietly)
People I trained? Well, uh... I found I just couldn’t rely on many of them. You know how young kids are nowadays! It’s just easier if I do the work myself!
