Sample of script:
Cody and Zack come on stage, talking
Cody: Sure, come on in Zack, we can play on my new Nintendo Wii.
Zack: You sure your parents won’t mind?
Cody: No, it’s cool, my Grandma is here.
Zack: Wow! You have a Grandma?
Cody: Sure I have don’t you?
Zack: I kind of don’t have too much for family. My Mom and Dad are divorced and I live with Mom and my sister.
Cody: Wow! I never knew that. Must be weird not having a dad around every day, can’t imagine that. My Dad and I do lots of neat stuff together.
Zack: I don’t need no dad. I can do fine on my own. Now where is your Wii?
Cody and Zack move down stage and mime playing video game.
Cody: Hey you’re good at this Zack!
Zack: When I go to my Dad’s he feels bad that he took off on me, so he does a bunch of stuff to get me to like him.
Cody: I can’t imagine that.
Zack: It’s not all bad. Playing one parent against the other is a great way of getting great gifts!
Grandma comes on stage
Cody: Hi Grandma, I brought Zack home with me, we’re going to play some Wii.
Grandma: Wii? . . . Is that some kind of game?
Cody: Ya. It’s a video game you play on the T.V.
Grandma: Hi Zack, good to meet you.
Zack doesn’t respond, continues playing Wii, Zack and Grandma look embarrassed
