Yes, unfortunately even sometimes in Christian marriage. . . Where does it go right . . where wrong? . . . But what happens in "good" marriages? What could? . . What should?
A good reading for Valentines Day . .But an essential reading for everyday.
Could be a husband and wife team.

Husband: Sweetheart, I love you!
Wife: How do I love thee? Let me count the ways!
Husband: I will always love you.
Wife: My love is without beginning and without end, it has always been and will always be.
Husband: I love you more than anyone has ever loved, more than anyone, ever, has loved another!
Wife: I love you more than they love you.
Husband: I love you more than he loves you!
Wife: Do you love me?
Husband: But, do you really, really love me?
Wife: I love you more than you love me.
Husband: You don't love me!
Wife: You never really loved me!
Husband: What did I ever see in you?
(Pause)
Wife: Love blooms.
Husband: Love grows.
Wife: Love deepens.
Husband: Love matures.
Wife: Love strengthens.
(Pause)
Husband: Does love fade?
Wife: Does love die?
Husband: Is love something which can be for a time, only to fade like yesterday's roses?
Wife: But what of abusive, unhealthy situations? Does love mean remaining with this type of relationship?
Husband: Let's consider 'unconditional love' in marriage:
Wife: First, let's look at the conditional way:
Husband: I'll love you if you change in these ways......... !
Wife: I'll love you if you don't ........... !
Husband: When you live up to MY expectations—then I'll love you!
Wife: I'll love you when you ... !
Husband: The focus is really on what I want! The focus here is self-centered.
Wife: And then, there's the unconditional way:
Husband: I love you as a person.
Wife: Not for what you can or can't do for me.
