In this sharp, fast-paced comedy with heart, five women gather for an important committee meeting—but their passion starts and stops at planning. As they spiral through agenda items without real action, one brave voice dares to speak the truth: what’s the point of hard work if we don’t see it through?
With humor and honesty, Perseverance© challenges us to follow through on our commitments—not just in meetings, but in ministry, in service, and in love. This skit is perfect for women's events, leadership retreats, or any gathering where the message of faithfulness and follow-through needs to be heard.

Sample Script
(Scene opens with all women speaking at once—overlapping chatter about various committee issues. The room is a bit chaotic.)
Shirley:
All right, ladies! That decides that issue.
Debbie (quietly, to Elaine so no one else can hear):
What was the final decision on that issue?
Elaine:
I don’t think any decision was made on it. (She shrugs.) Oh well!
Shirley:
Now, the next issue is the winter banquet. How is this coming along, Joan?
Joan:
Well, I really feel we’ve done our part with this banquet. We’ve organized every detail and are just waiting for this committee’s approval.
Shirley:
Okay, Joan. Thank you for all your work. Next issue!
Debbie (leaning toward Joan):
Did we give an approval yet?
Joan:
Oh, no. That probably will never happen.
Debbie (confused):
But then, what was the point in you doing all the work?
Joan (disgusted):
We are a committee! That is what we do!!
Shirley:
Next issue! How are we doing with the fundraising for the children’s center?
Elaine:
Great! We’ve collected all the pledges and found projects for all the funds to be designated to. All we need now is the cheque from the committee.
Shirley:
Super work, ladies! Next issue!
Debbie (stands up):
Shouldn’t we give Elaine the cheque to take to the center?
Shirley (surprised):
What did you say . . .
