What do you get when two wannabe superheroes crash a group of girls chatting about church? A hilarious, high-energy reminder that you don’t need superpowers to make a difference—just a willing heart. With capes, quips, and a surprise tricycle cameo, this fast-paced comedy spotlights everyday heroes of faith: teachers, pastors, volunteers, and even youth leaders with questionable driving skills.

Perfect for church services, youth nights, or volunteer appreciation events, Ordinary Super Heroes© inspires with laughter and a powerful truth: God uses the ordinary to do the extraordinary.

No special set, lighting, or props required—just a little imagination and a lot of heart.

Samantha, Angelea, Katelynn come on stage, chatter, chatter

Samantha: So, anyhow, we had an awesome holiday but now I wonder what is going to be happening at church?

Katelynn: I am looking forward to getting back to our group, will be nice to be together again.

Angelea (fixing hair): Well, personally, I wonder if there will be any new guys in our group this fall?

Tyler and Aaron rush on stage

Tyler: Suuuuuuppppppppeeeeerrrrrrrr Heroooooooooo!

Aaron: Suuuuuuppppppppeeeeerrrrrrrr Heroooooooooo!

Samantha: Please tell me those aren’t the new guys in our group this fall!

Tyler (to Aaron): Hey, wait a minute you, you can’t go around calling yourself Super Hero! I am the one and the only Super Hero.

Aaron: Not too likely you aren’t! The Super Hero would be, (steps downstage, points to self, big smile), moi!

Tyler: I shall have you know, I am faster than a speeding bullet. More powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! Now beat that will you?

Aaron: Wow! I am impressed! Guess you must be a Super Hero.

Tyler steps downstage, strikes a superman pose

Angelea: What do you drive Mr. Super Hero?

Katelynn: Likely a Batmobile or something, right?

Tyler: Batmobile? Hardly! I drive a . . . . Harley!

Tyler strikes biker pose, makes motorcycle noise

Samantha: Pastor Wes rides a big Harley too. Guess that makes him a super hero as well.

Angelea: Yep, why I have seen Pastor Wes do all those things you were talking about Mr. High and Mighty Super Hero!

Aaron: You mean Pastor Wes is faster than a speeding bullet? He’s more powerful than a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound?

Katelynn: Well, almost, I mean he is faster than a medium range cap gun, more powerful than an idling Model T, and besides Pastor Wes can climb over low fences with a step ladder and a safety net.
