I Am Ready

A "witnessing Christian" uses very questionable witnessing techniques.

Silly, but too often the way it is. Sharpening your witnessing technique so that you are able to mentor and disciple more effectively.

• A beggar,
• a couple,
• a police officer
• 3 gangsters,
• an offstage voice.

Mickey comes onstage, over excited.

Mickey: (shouts) I am ready to do your will Lord. I have passed the Bible Mission Qualification Training with distinction. God gave me the great commission to spread the good news. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Yes, sirreeee, if God is for me who can be against me? I am ready!

Mickey, pacing impatiently. A couple walks by, Mickey jumps at them.

Mickey: (shouts) You need to be born again or else you will go to Hell.

The couple, frightened, run away, Mickey waves at them as they leave

Mickey: (shouts) GOD LOVES YOU!!!!

Mickey paces impatiently.

A beggar walks by, Mickey jumps at him.

Mickey: (Shouts) You need to be born again or else you will go to Hell.

Beggar: Could you please give me money and food?

Mickey: (Points at beggar) What you need is the Bread and Water of Life. Do you know that GOD LOVES YOU?

Beggar walks off stage disappointed

Mickey: (Shouts) Remember to store up riches in heaven.

Mickey paces impatiently.

Old man walks by, Mickey jumps at him

Mickey: (Shouts) You need to be born again or you will go to Hell.

Old man gets frightened, faints.

Mickey places his hand on the man and prays loudly:

Mickey: In the name of Jesus awake!

No response, Mickey shakes the man repeatedly, old man gets up, screams.

Police officer runs onstage and pulls Mickey away, helps the old man off the stage.

Mickey: (Shouts excitedly) My first miracle

Police Officer comes back onstage and gives Mickey a ticket, then walks away.

Mickey: (Angrily reads ticket) Disturbing the peace!!!!!

Mickey: Jesus warns me that there will be opposition. I am not afraid because God is with me.

Mickey paces impatiently.
