We must be composed to do the will and the work of God. The first part of the drama is spent with the children during the church service, then they proceed to their Sunday School class and continue the lesson.

Prior to Daniel entering the sanctuary, the pastor invites the children to come to the front of the church. The cue for the actor to enter are the pastor's words, "very special person".

Sample of script:

Pastor says:
The great thing about Children's Church is that: you get to learn about God and about people in the Bible who have served God. And this morning we have a special treat for you! We have a very special person coming to talk to you in Children's Church this morning.

Daniel enters sanctuary from side door:

Good morning! My name is Daniel. I'm sure that all of you have heard of me.

Do you know what a lion is? . . Of course you do!

Well then do you know what a lion's den is? . . A lion's den is where lions live.

This morning in Children's Church I would like to talk to you about one time when I was put into a lion's den with some hungry lions. Of course, I was concerned about it when it happened. But I was also contented. I knew that God would look after me, and you know what? He did!

But before we go to Children's Church let's bow our heads and close our eyes and talk to God. Let's pray. "Dear God, I Thank you for these children and for their interest in learning about You. Bless these children, their teachers and their families. We pray in Your name. Amen."." Daniel takes the hand of a couple of the smallest children and leads them all down the aisle and out the back doors of the sanctuary.

In Children's Church Room Daniel reads the following story from Daniel Chapter 6 to the children.

"I loved God very much and I trusted Him as a best friend. God gave me an opportunity to get a job working for the King himself, King Darius. King Darius trusted me and was going to make me the administrator over the whole country. This made the other leaders very jealous. Do you know what it means to be jealous? . . . . . . That's when you are unhappy that someone else has something that you don't have. Well, the other leaders were unhappy that I was to be given this new job. So they decided that they would make King Darius unhappy with me.
